A CHILD AND THEIR GUARDIAN
The child must be 2–3 years old or turn at least 2 by the end of the year.
In the child and their guardian groups, the children are introduced to the world of dancing whilst accompanied by a safe and familiar adult. The guardian may be, for example, the child’s mother, father, grandparent, or godparent. It is best if the child is accompanied by the same adult throughout the entire term.
Games, nursery rhymes, music, and diverse exercises develop the children’s basic sports skills and basic dance technical skills, supported by their adult companion. At the same time, the adult companion will receive pleasing exercise and be able to train his or her body. The physical contact and interaction will strengthen the relationship of the child and their guardian.
The child and their guardian groups have one 45-minute dance class, once a week.
